‘Fallout’ series gets a new release date on Prime Video

“Fallout” is coming out of the vault earlier than originally planned.

Prime Video has announced that “Fallout,” adapted from the retro-futuristic video game franchise of the same name, will premiere all eight episodes on April 10 at 6PM PT. The special release includes a live global fan premiere of the first episode, where viewers around the world can choose their faction and interact with other fans via a live chat function.

According to the official logline, “’Fallout’ is the story of the rich and the poor in a world in which there is almost nothing left to gain. Two-hundred years after the apocalypse, the benign inhabitants of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape left by their ancestors – and an incredibly complex, hilariously strange and intensely violent universe awaits. are doing.

“Fallout” is executive produced by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, the duo behind “Westworld,” and stars Ella Purnell, Walton Goggins, Kyle MacLachlan, Zelia Mendes-Jones and Aaron Moten. Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner are co-creators and serve as executive producers, writers and co-showrunners. Nolan directed the first three episodes of the series. Amazon MGM Studios and Kilter Films produce in association with Bethesda Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks.

This is the second update made by Prime Video to the series’ release strategy: “Fallout” was scheduled to drop all eight episodes on April 11, a day before its original April 12 premiere.
