The great IP crossover experiment continues with Marvel appearing in another place where you wouldn’t normally expect Marvel to be. Today, Wizards of the Coast announced that Marvel is bringing its iconic (and indispensable) heroes Magic: GatherinG with new “collectibles and tentpole sets” that will be available at your local game store in 2025.

Crossovers are nothing new Magic the Gathering, It has just launched a card game am a doctor-Themed Commander Set, earlier this year, Magic Issued A Lord of the Rings set (full of oneself One Ring Bonanza which caught Vipul’s attention Magic Collector Post Malone). Throughout the year, Magic has released a ton of mini, collectible sets based on everything my little Pony To bob ross paintings, In this context, a Marvel-themed set (or sets as the press release suggests) feels right at home, even if it’s a little late, but teaming up with Marvel feels like MagicBiggest collaboration ever.

We don’t know the extent of this assembly of card-game Avengers yet, but expect all of your favorites to be linked by thematically appropriate mechanics. “These tentpole sets will build on the tradition of incorporating beloved fan-favorite characters and elements from world-class brands Magic the Gathering,” Cynthia Williams, president of Wizards of the Coast and Hasbro Digital Gaming, said in the press release. There will almost certainly be a “No More Mutants” spell that will exile everything with the mutant keyword, and if there are no commander cards for Storm, there will be hell to pay (especially on my part).
