‘Star Wars’ series gets a premiere date on Disney+

Disney+ reveals spring premiere date retainernew lucasfilm star wars series. Star Wars: The Acolyte Will be released on June 4 on the streaming service. The date was revealed on Monday on the Star Wars Verified (see below).

Created by Leslie Headland (Russian Doll), retainer is a mystery-thriller that will transport audiences into a galaxy of mysterious secrets and rising dark forces in the final days of the High Republic era. A former Padawan reunites with her Jedi Master to investigate a series of crimes, but the forces they encounter are more sinister than they expected.

Headland Kathleen Kennedy, Simon Emanuel, Jeff F. King also serves as showrunner and executive producer alongside Jason Micallef. Rene Roberts and Damien Anderson are producing. Headland will also direct the series pilot.
