“Liing in capital letters doesn’t mean it’s true, Donald,” he responded.

Former President Donald Trump is calling for former Republican Rep. Liz Cheney and other members of the House committee he had investigated on Jan. 6 to be jailed.

On social media, he also questioned whether one of his former White House aides, Cassidy Hutchinson, will be prosecuted because some of her testimony before the committee had been questioned.

“She should go to jail along with the rest of the Unselected Committee,” Trump wrote of Cheney on Sunday on his social media platform, reposting articles claiming that the Jan. 6 committee suppressed evidence during its investigation, which the panel members have denied.

Cheney responded bluntly to Trump’s threats.

“Lying in all caps doesn’t mean it’s true, Donald,” he posted on X later on Sunday. “You know that you and your lawyers have had the evidence for a long time.”
