Trump Truth Social: DWAC SPAC Deal Set to Enrich Allies and Foes

Donald Trump If the former president’s media startup debuts as a public company — at least on paper — it’s not the only company that’s going to get a lot richer.

Shareholders are scheduled to vote Friday on whether blank check company Digital World Acquisition Corp. can move forward with taking Trump Media & Technology Group, which runs the Truth social platform, public. If the long-delayed deal is approved, many insiders, from management to sponsors, and even former colleagues who filed lawsuits to stop or block the deal, stand to get millions of dollars. There is danger.
